CASY and MSCCN partnered with Ed4online to create an HR Internship that includes training, hands on work experience, and a Human Resource (HR) management course.
The candidates selected for this internship will begin the program with a three-week training on best practices in employment sourcing, screening, and placement with an emphasis on working with service members, veterans, and military family members. After the training, interns will begin hands-on instruction as they volunteer directly within the Employment Specialist or Recruiter Connect™ departments of the organization. The hands-on portion of the program lasts for a period of 6 months during which they will begin the HR management course described below. The purpose of hands on training while taking the course is to provide an opportunity for the interns to apply the knowledge from the course in their work with job seekers and recruiters from different companies. The interns will be part of the Gateway Department for 3 months and in the last 2 months of the internship they will transfer to the Recruiter Connect™ Department. The interns are required to commit a minimum of 10 hours a week.

This is an unpaid internship offered nationwide.
HR Interns will work virtually with the Employment Specialist and Recruiter Connect departments.
The internship will start on 1st of May 2018.
The end date of submitting your application is 13 April 2018.

How to Apply
Step 1. Candidates submit Internship Application
Candidates should email their filled in Internship Application (Click here to download the Internship Application) along with their Resume to Bianca Nafpliotis, Career Corps Program Manager (CCM), at email@example.com The end date of submitting your application is 13 April 2018.
Step 2. Eligible candidates will be interviewed by the Career Corps Program Manager
The CCM will review application packages, determine eligibility and set up phone interviews during the week of 16 – 20 April.
Step 3. Provide Internship paperwork for processing.
The selected candidates will be emailed the Welcome Aboard Package by the CCM and they will return it signed during the week of 23 – 27 April.
Step 4. Starting the internship
The interns will receive their CASY email addresses and the registration information for the HR Management Course during the week of 1 – 4 May. CCM will set up a virtual Meet and Greet with the Employment Specialist Managers, the Recruiter Connect Manager and the Training Department Manager.
